We talk to people and deliver intimate portraits of user-cultures. Bringing value to design by identifying how brands and products actually serve the people and the cultures in which they find meaning and thrive.
Early analysis begins with a rough release of the product and does not stop there. Insights are adapted to in an ongoing process throughout the life cycle of the product.

Open innovation is a paradigm that assumes that firms can and should use external ideas as well as internal ideas, and internal and external paths to market, as the firms look to advance their technology. Innovation means being ahead,
anticipating problems that may not exist yet, and crafting solutions that become part of everyday life. Innovation is the realization of a creative idea. The leader's of tomorrow will create a culture of creative problem solvers.

Our approach begins simply with Design Thinking. The design process involves exploring many ideas quickly in order to discover unexpected outcomes. During the process ideas take form through a product story and common design. The result is a repeatable process framed around a new set of principles of innovation.
Engineers, ardent Arduinoists, and super-hackers combine to create elegant code. Expertise in emerging technology allows us to feasibility test the idea. If the technology does not exist then we create new tools to build with. We apply device agnostic technology by building platforms.

We partner with thought leaders to successfully create new category ideas at the intersection of making and learning. A light-weight team is formed based around the executive and objective. The unit is based on opposing forces that would not normally work together.
This team remains autonomous from the larger organization to cultivate passion and vision around the idea. One person does not lead the team at all times. When one emerges we let it happen organically.
Using social media to encourage & utilize innovative ideas is one of the most powerful methods of communication and one of the most relevant uses of social media.
